More about Flocked Sponges

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

Hi Girls,

We are so excited to be able to launch our newest product - FLEUR FLOCKED SPONGE sometime today. It will be made available in the Brushes and Tools section very soon!

Flocked sponges blend make-up seamlessly. After applying powder with your kabuki brush, lightly stoke downward using the flocked sponge to minimizes the look of pores and fine lines. It also allows a more precise, gentle and hygienic application to your skin.

Remember to cultivate a good habit of washing your makeup sponge and brushes regularly as they can harbor dirt and bacteria.

One tip for girls with sensitive skin : Use the same cleanser or soap that you use on a daily basis to wash your Flocked Sponge and Makeup Brushes. Harsh detergents or shampoos might stay in your applicators and might cause some irritation.

Happy National Day! Looking forward to the long weekend ahead.

Love,

Angela

Flocked Sponges coming sooooonn…..

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Hope everyone is having a great time filling up their shopping bags ;D

Thank you all for your encouraging comments! We plan to list them on the site soon!

Just wanted to share with you about a new product coming on board really soon. We will be carrying Flocked Sponges …. YEH >o< These are perfect for the application of mineral makeup foundation.

Was so excited when I received the samples because it came in a neat little pouch to protect the sponge from getting dirty. What’s more, it’s 100% washable and latex free.

Tried it on my face and I loved the “Smoothy” feel when the sponge blends the mineral foundation flawlessly. Flocked Sponges work best if you want to achieve a slightly heavier medium coverage. The sharper edges of this oblong shape sponge enables you to apply makeup on hard to reach places. Eg: Around the mouth and eye area.

Have been sourcing for these little ’smoothies’ for quite some time already because most shops in Singapore don’t sell them and most of us have been purchasing them through online shopping websites or while traveling overseas. So, I decided to bring them in myself and use them all I want. haha.

I haven’t come up with a name for this product yet. Any suggestions or burning ideas to share, please email me at info@momominerals.com. If we like it, you will stand a chance to win the flocked sponge for yourself ;p

Closing date: 30th Jul 2008.

Gotta stop here because my vision is getting blurred. Went for my Lasik surgery yesterday after much procrastination ;p

Love,

Angela ;p
